“Will robots take our jobs? Possible social and economic consequences of artificial intelligence“

Abstract
One of the most important questions of artificial intelligence (AI) is whether robots will take our jobs. In regard to this question, this presentation raises important economic and social phenomena in a single line of thought. Its starting points are the relation of productivity and employment, the impact of AI on work, and a few examples of different professions. Presenter examines what will happen to us if we will not have a job: how we will earn money, what will give meaning to our lives and what we will do with our leisure time. The lecture also discusses how to prepare for the challenges posed by AI, what to teach our children, and how to cooperate with robots through the so-called centaur-model. The final part of the presentation looks into the distant future, with a mention of posthumanism and (digital) immortality, stating that our future is still uncertain.
