What Stands for Menstrual (In)justice - International Workshop at Union University Law School Belgrade

On 22 November 2024, the Union University Law School Belgrade will hold an international workshop entitled 

What Stands for Menstrual (In)justice.

The Belgrade workshop serves to revisit the topics of human rights, social justice, law, and menstruation in relation to women’s health, public health, tax law and policy, labor rights, LBGTQI right, psychology, sociology, health, and feminism. 

Opening addresses will be given by Brankica Janković, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality,  Milena Jenovai, Project Manager Specialist, USAID/Serbia, Ljiljana Lončar, Project Manager, UN Women Serbia, and Violeta Beširević, Dean, Union University Law School Belgrade. 

Speakers include: Inga Winkler (Wageningen University), Judit Sándor (Central European University), Aleksandra Čavoški (University of Birmingham) Sanja Barić (University of Rijeka), Antonija Petručušić (University of Zagreb), Marinella Matejčić (SOLIDARNA – Foundation for Human Rights and Solidarity, Zagreb), Marina Sakač Hadžić (European Association for the Education of Adults, Brussels), Adriana Zaharijević (University of Belgrade), Dragica Vujadinović (University of Belgrade), Svetislav Kostić (University of Belgrade), Mario Reljanović (Institute of Comparative Law, Belgrade), Tatjana Papić (Union University Law School Belgrade), Jelena Simić (Union University Law School Belgrade), Mila Petrović (Union University Law School Belgrade), Iva Ivanov (Union University Law School Belgrade), Ankica Dragin (Union University Law School Belgrade), Agata, M.
