The impact of digitalisation on the healthcare ecosystem

Judit Sándor participated at a Round table discussion on
"Karsai v. Hungary – clinical aspects"

Personalised medicine is rapidly becoming part of our everyday lives. As a consequence of the digital and biotechnological revolution, it is undergoing a continuous and significant transformation, which poses a major challenge to healthcare decision-makers, doctors, public authorities and the pharmaceutical industry. The use of artificial intelligence in this field is also becoming part of our everyday lives, and the legal, ethical and health economics aspects are becoming increasingly challenging. In parallel, the concept of disease is also changing. Designing a future health strategy without personalised medicine is now unthinkable.
This year's conference provided a comprehensive overview of the development of precision medicine, the practice of using the latest technologies and treatments, and the doubts and questions that are of concern to those working in this multidisciplinary field.
